Chromebooks and Devices

What is a Chromebook?

A Chromebook is a low-cost laptop running Google’s Chrome OS as its operating system rather than Windows or Apple's OS X. Storage is cloud based.

Chromebooks are automatically kept up to date, so that our students will always have the latest virus protection, along with the latest features like Voice Search. Best of all, our students' Chromebook won’t slow down over time.

No setup needed, our students just log in with their school Google account. No long load times, just flip it open and get busy doing anything other than waiting. And with a long-life battery, ' chargers can be left at home.

Chromebooks stay in sync with our students' Android phones & tablets, and everywhere that our students are signed in with their Google account – so our students' stuff stays with them, even when our students' laptop doesn't.

Chromebooks give our students the best of the Google suite: Gmail, Maps, Docs and pics are safely stored in the cloud, so a laptop spill really is just a laptop still.
