Fundraising
At Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School we are always looking for opportunities to support our students and help them become the visionaries of the future.
We have set up the Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School Fund, a registered charity, to raise money to help make sure our facilities, resources and co-curricular programme are as outstanding as our teaching and learning.
There are a number of ways you can support the school:
Above and Beyond at SHFGS
What does £1 a day get you? A bottle of mineral water, a chocolate bar, a lottery scratchcard? Or a new opportunity for an SHFGS student.
Giving £30 a month to Sir Henry Floyd Grammar school enables us to challenge and inspire our students both inside and outside the classroom. Monthly donations to our Above and Beyond campaign fund the day to day co-curricular “extras” that are vital in supporting the already outstanding teaching and learning we offer every child at our school.
Help us go above and beyond both inside and outside the classroom every day.
Setting up a monthly payment as large or small as you like (or making a one-off donation) is quick and easy, and could be the best £1 you spend today.

We’re grateful for any donations to SHFGS, large or small.
If you’d like to donate towards a specific project (e.g our planned State of the Art Virtual Reality classrooms), subject or department, or just to make a general donation to our School Fund we’d love to hear from you.

Matched Giving
Many companies throughout the UK offer employees the chance to boost the fundraising efforts of a charity they support by 'matching' the money they raise.
If you think your employer may offer a similar schemes that might benefit our fundraising efforts, please contact your Human Resources provider for specific details that may apply to you.
Equipment, Service and Skills Donations
Can you help us by donating equipment or a service your organisation provides? Can you offer pro bono skills or support to help us run the school as cost effectively as possible?
